Doom inspired piece. An overpaint of a friend's character model. I didn't want to drift away from his initial design to much :) I'll post the base in the comments.

Had to dig deep to find some of these. I know that my personal work seems pretty consistent (teeth, blood, guts etc. :P ), but the truth is that working as a concept artist in the industry I've been a generalist for most of my "career".

Some inital sketches for the creature.

Concept done some time ago. The goal was to design a "frog/toad" or rather a fallen warrior that was changed into one by an evil witch. My take on it - a spell-gone-wrong version. Half-digested warrior and giant toad are bound together in a grotesque form to suffer for eternity.

Some weekend noodling around. Working on linework and enviros...

Here's my humble #100percentzoom contribution. Feeling very self-conscious about posting these as I rarely (never tbh) show this level of zoom. Damn, it's so messy :P
