@RandomName256 Every now and then the protagonists will shift. Amitie (along with Raffina and Sig) were the protagonists of Puyo Fever 1 and 2. Ringo came along in Puyo 7 and also was the main character in Puyo Tetris (with Tee.) But for most of the series, Arle has been the main character
@Renard_Pixel Yeah. Seems like since SEGA's got their hands on the IP, Puyo's been strictly puzzle for the most part. The characters have crossed over into other franchises (mostly mobile games) and even the main series has shaken up the standard Puyo formula from time to time
