Oh look! Here is that little junction to Crovan's Gate that appears in the "Middle Station" concept art.
Looking through the 1980's/1990's magazine stories, it seems that Henry being a nervous and worried character isn't just a thing from the CGI Series. It was present even in the magazines as well, although not as prominent or as evident as in the CGI Series.
In the magazines, Diesel stayed working in the harbour after the "Diesel Does It Again" events, sharing a couple of stories with Bill and Ben. Percy and Duck were also featured.
This further supports the fact that Brendam was the harbour where Percy and Duck worked during S3.
I recently noticed in the concept arts they reference the exact RWS illustrations they used for reference to make the props.
For Elsbridge, according to the concept art, they used "Book 4, Page 9 and 11", which are these 2 images of Knapford Junction from "Thomas and the Guard".
Since Sir Handel visits the Talyllyn Railway in 1982 and returns in 1984 (making "Great Little Engines" take place between these years), it is logical to assume "James and the Diesel Engines" take place before 1982.
It coincides with Old Stuck-Up's withdrawal year.
Okay, so let me explain the thing with this little harbour.
This harbour is supposed to be the TVS version of the RWS Knapford Harbour in the books. This harbour is supposed to serve the junction on Thomas' Branch Line.
The thing that most people get confused is its name. (1/?)
In "Thomas, Percy and the Dragon", Thomas leaves the harbour, and passes Percy by Suddery. In "All At Sea", Duck leaves the harbour, and arrives at Suddery, Bertie takes the man to the hospital (arguably the Wellsworth Hospital).
