the film is troublesome if you watch it now (molly wrote a great article about that for the new yorker that you should read) but it still holds a special place in my heart⁠

i drew a sleepy eyed john drinking coffee in the morning because coffee is very much the best thing

this week has been a rough one. i've started & stopped things & nothing has gone the way i hoped.

i'm getting better at recognising that it's not always helpful to push through - sometimes the best thing you can do is stop

i'm not going to get too sentimental yet (let's save that for new years eve) but all of the bloody support i've got from everybody this year has been ASTOUNDING
