when i was little i would do the link cable glitch in pokemon where you could copy a pokemon over another pokemon during a trade and i remember doing it over a pidgey and its just so cute and animal-like i felt extremely guilty as i saw it mid-trade before pulling the cord out

this isnt gonna look like this, its gonna be more. like. intentional and not glitch texture. but it looks really cool i think

honestly like messing around with all this palette stuff makes me feel a lot better about doing a low-palette game - i feel like i can make characters look interesting (instead of like. just weird and out of place) even with colors that dont match them at all
