like it goes between gritty mechs fighting disgusting alien monsters and character designs like this
dither looks better in smaller areas (shadows, details, etc) but not TOO small. It looks better where it feels more natural as a 'texture' too - like on the hair and her jacket here. It looks weirder as a primary color in skin, but it doesnt seem to bother me with the rest
however it does this in a pretty clumsy way, to the point where sometimes it'll skip a closer color with a less obvious dither in favor of a more precise mix of two high contrast colors ( creating a polkadot effect, like the hair here)
