this work was directly influenced by monika tichacek's "to all my relations." series - which features grand and vibrant watercolour, gouache and pencil compositions depicting flora and fauna as a celebration of nature!

day 3 of asteraceae - glass paws! a limited palette watercolour painting depicting my character cricket running through a weird lush fantasy land. the large plant in the back is poison ivy, her flower motif.
