AND THEN HERE WE ARE, mid 2022. I still can't thank my friend enough for giving me her drawing tablet. Combining techniques and style I've developed so far, I can finally draw things like this under 2 hours. A very great improvement compared to how it was especially on 2018

Then early 2022, I experimented and found yet another cool-but-takes-less-effort style, and I liked it so much

And then 2021, the start of my Fatui Skirmishers era where I found the brush Sumi 4 and Acrylic (Wet) on Medibang. It was so fun to use for that traditional sketch touch, and I don't have to redraw scanned drawing to look good w/ em.

That's how my current art style established

And 2020 was the year when I joined so many artbook projects and find out that "YOOOOO, coloring your scanned drawing is easier than completely draw it from the scratch on laptop. Also cellshade-then-abuse-layer-setting is actually fun and awesome!"

2019 also the year when I start to experiment drawing with mouse and trackpad after my tablet broke down on 2017-18 ish

That's why I also tried to do simpler approach so I'd take less effort to work LOL

2019 I was like, 'fuck semi-realism, I'll try simpler, more approachable art style instead'

Always funny whenever I look back around 2014-2017, I was so obsessed with 'semi-realism'.

But after I get into collage and too busy to draw, I was extremely dejected because whenever I tried to draw w/ this style I failed. Painful times, I kind of hated drawing at those times

2014 - 2016 - 2018 - 2022

I just realize I'd draw a beautiful woman close-up in semi-realism style once every two years (except 2020)
