Two of the most important people in my life I only met in the last three years. I try to remember that when I feel trapped and like life is stagnating.

This is something I have to remind myself of when I am struggling with depression/suicidal ideation. It's easy for my mind to catastrophize and label everything as terrible and that life is getting worse-- but that feeling isn't truthful; it ALWAYS follows a gap in my self-care.
