#FixTheAlgorithm i have so much personal art that never seems to really make its way onto other people's timelines and that's sad because i love my art!! really!!! i want people to see it!!

when i really am artblocked i'll just leave it at that, and that's okay! but other things i do in the sketching phase are
- erasing the original thick sketch down to a more refined silhouette (see on the right in the pic)
- refining the sketch in multiple stages:

sometimes an idea that i want to convey needs to be put on the canvas generally first, and thicker strokes make it easier to do that since they leave a huge space up for interpretation. it's basically why sketches exist in the first place! i go really big in my strokes for those:
