An archives that is often overlooked is the Archives for the Province of Ontario.
A number of years ago we had the opportunity for a private visit and they had pulled a number of significant War of 1812 related items from their collection.
It blew us away!

I just finished reading Andrew Field's series of books on the Waterloo campaign, written from the French perspective.
