This is a drawing I did in celebration of the game's release 10 years ago, compared to a more recent Kirby picture of mine. I was a huge fan of Super Star Ultra's official art, and I think it got me to think more about shading and cleanliness in my artwork.

Here are the alts I came up with too! Probably the one thing I wish they handled differently, as it seems like most of her actual alts are palette swaps of just her summer and winter outfits. I'm just so glad she's in though ❤️

I wish I posted this before today's Direct, and I wanted to add more to it, but recently I made a concept sheet of Isabelle as an echo fighter! It's so awesome to see that, while she's based on Villager, she's in fact her own fighter!

I actually started this same project way back in 2011, too. Here's a comparison between how I drew the party back then and in 2016.

I thought today, the 29th anniversary of MOTHER 🌎, would be a good time to post these! A couple years ago I started a project drawing all of the characters from the game, and I still hold my redesigns of the main party in high regard. I'm hoping to draw everyone by next year!
