Thomas Fluarty- The inspo for all my animal portraits and end goal for altering ref heavy artwork. This man clearly REALLY understands him subjects so he can play with a dogs form like crazy when he draws them. His oil paintings are beautiful and so is his indigo bleu art 6/?
masaaki yuasa- its no secret this is my favorite animator, I copy his jagged edges and off model style whenever i can, he gives me hope i can be an animator one day even with the way my art is. so it feels so special to me to see his stuff on the big screen 5/?
Robert valley- He really inspires me to exaggerate perspective to the very extreme, his animations are amazing and so are anything he does that has to do with backgrounds or just, people, out living life. I loved his film "pear cidar and cigarettes " 4/?
Rebecca sugar- Kind of an obvious one, Rebecca's early work blew my mind when i was a teenager and made me question why my art felt so stiff, i learned too late what gesture was but i am grateful to her for showing me through her passion for cartoons and form 3/?
