I kept doing a bunch of sketches, and eventually landed on something that looked kind of like a motorcycle jacket. So the final design is more "motorcycle chick," but with coloring that's still reminiscent of a Japanese school uniform.

With this stage, I untucked her shirt and made it long, which helped make this feel more like something a young person would wear, especially someone like Tove, who would never bother with belts or shirt tucking. I also brought back the "sun" design from her chapter 1 headband.
