i honestly think KanaoxTanjiro is going to be a canon ship. in the 59.5 extra chapter at the very end it talked about how “if kanao can find someone she likes then she can change one day” andddd the very end showed a cute pic of Tanjiro. so I believe Gotōge hinted a future ship.
