Within the Jack Hills quartzite are these lovely gems. Well not gems exactly, but lovely zircon crystals. And of these zircon, about 10% of these are older than 4 billion years old.

An excellent example of #crenulation cleavage where an initial planar fabric is overprinted by a subsequent fabric. In this case the crenulation in a similar fashion to pressure dissolution in which the dark insoluble minerals define the crenulation.
