This evening’s viewing:

Took a while to get going, perhaps a little too much scene setting, but the second half of the movie was awesome, great practical effects and make up, and some surprisingly sensible characters! All in all, great fun!

Last night’s viewing:

Finally got round to seeing this one, loved the practical effects and the concept of the story was wonderfully silly. Particularly far fetched but that seemed very much the spirit of the whole thing! Good popcorn movie 😆

Last night’s viewing: Jakob’s Wife

Weird little b-movie, it couldn’t decide on its tone. Felt serious until it added some comedy halfway through, then the rest of the movie jumped between comedy, serious scenes and over the top gore. Some good bits but not cohesive.
