We’ve also got these sweet illustrations from 1988 from The Barbie Story. People keep attributing them to Betsy Loredo, who, as far as I could find, is the writer. Her professional profile is all about writing and production. No mention of illustration. Hmm.

I wish I knew more about commercial illustrators working for toy companies because I love that stuff. Maria Gamiere did Lady Lovely Locks, I think? I am having a time finding any of her other work.
