i posted these not that long ago, but gonna post them again since it's #JourneyGame 's 10 year anniversary..

this game made such a profound impact on me. it continues to influence my artistic inspiration aesthetically and injected a kindness into my life that i sorely needed

but i feel abstract

the kodis before were kind of ridiculous/goofy/more representative of myself than a character but one of the unique lore points was that, much like a real cat, he did not like clothes

so my original WoL always had a personality so to speak, but it shifted a lot. i think i finally started drawing stuff in response to story beats/future ideas when "kodi" (later to become mana'to) got his predicted lonely death as a crystallized scholar
