Poplan - another one where I appreciated the balance in character writing a lot. He's mostly a comic relief womanizer, but the way he grieves and the way he works as a mentor counteract him becoming one-dimensional.

Müller - I have nothing of any depth to say about him but I can't leave him out because I liked him too much. Noted sane and normal person among insane people.

(Wahlen and Lutz are also normal, but less involved, so they don't count.)

Bittenfeld - my beautiful wife.

Genuinely deeply enjoyed his character. He's a straight-forward and aggressive guy, but he's never portrayed as a buffoon. It makes sense for him to hold his position, despite his flaws. He was a breath of fresh air between all the overtly

Schönkopf - most interesting in relation to Yang / as an influence on Yang, but always incredibly fun to watch. "Middle-aged bad boy" is a wonderful character concept (though he's right that 30s isn't actually middle-aged, lmao).

I hoped he and Yang would change each other more.

Mittermeyer - solid! A good principled man who is too good and principled to adequately support the people he is closest to. It made me want to scream a little, if he'd just put one foot from the righteous path he might have been able to see Reue's real self!

Love his body type.

Julian - a cutie! I enjoyed his journey of puppy-love hero worship for Yang to becoming a young adult trying to fill shoes that are too large for him. I would have liked to see some of his general old self remaining though. Giving away the cat and giving up on cooking was just :(

Kircheis - Ronald McDonald but for gay people.

His personality felt pretty shallow to me and I hope Gaiden can sell me on him some more. I just... did not find anything about him interesting, I am so sorry.

Frederica - the way the show actively refuses to foreground her honestly drives me insane. Even her position as political leader at the end is then completely passed over and basically filled by Julian. Her VA did a fantastic job and I wanted to find her more intriguing, but she

Not sure if he had appeared in the manga yet when 0079 started running, but by the time of Dorel's and Angelo's designs he sure was around. (He is also majorly gay-coded / plausibly canon gay.)
