The March 1980 issue of Monthly OUT, a popular anime magazine at the time, featured a full body nude pin-up shot of Sayla. According to Japanese wikipedia and various other Japanese online sources the issue was the most sold issue of OUT in its entire run and had to be reprinted.

There are many things the Deikun siblings share in common (fake names to start with), but there is one similarity that is especially interesting on a meta level.

Both Char and Sayla have bathing scenes that arguably left lasting impact on the industry as a whole.

Thinking AGAIN about how everyone, even Yas, portrayed academy era Char with un-obscured eyes in the past. I feel endless curiosity about the pre-Origin past that was vaguely assumed for them during the 80s....
