@miskatonicfox European red foxes come in a huge range of colours. I'm working on an updated version, but here's an old chart I made of colour variations in European foxes

It's a bit outdated now but I made this chart of wild fox colours some years ago (working on a more detailed version)

Possibly saw a black fox last night! Hard to be certain as it was quite dark and I only had a brief glimpse of it trotting past but it definitely looked black and had no white markings at all. Couldn't get a photo so did a quick drawing instead @BlackFoxesUK
