Also leucism (roughly pronounced like look + ism) is a pigmentation defect where most of the melanin is just not there
It's different from albinism since leucism does still have melanin notably in the eyes

I don't have fleshed out story but basically jimin's parents have a pokemon farm and one day young jimin was running around and accidentally angered so wild pokemons who tried to attack him
But luckily for him one of the luxrays stepped in and saved him
