The left style I developed specifically for concept arting to make my designs clear as possible and I usually don't feel the need to go any further. but I just didn't have time to figure out & draw her fullbody. My portraits are usually paintings so yeah!
It quickly went from mostly drawing (my prefered approach) to mostly painting. The most left is my preferred style. I like lines & clear shape design, I don't always play with moody lighting 'cause my characters are usually on a white bg . . .
I liked the color, style and overall feeling of my old sketch but I didn't want a fun jinx in my style feel. I wanted a more sad tragic jinx closer to the art of Arcane kinda feel. Also my anatomy and pose was srsly f'd up so clean-up wouldn't work. I basically started over.
So the plan was to 'paintover' or 'drawover' my prev Jinx fanart to have it print worthy for Animangaki because I liked the sketch here (but not the final on my ig lol) and I thought it wouldn't be a lot of work cuz I no time. So I began as was but lo & behold . . .
