I won, but at what cost?

My concepts always turn true,
but never in the way we materialize them.

There's something here too about how the characters who have a clear idea regarding who they (don't) want to be are those that tip the scales, prove crucial to the fate of someone else, and do the things that shape how society looks when all is said and done.

I sensed this, but only now do I see the concept.
