on the server, the subject of why turn off anti-aliasing on my brushes when i paint came up. i can explain it in a few seconds with a video:
getting back in touch with the old ways... color block painting fast and dirty...
merry holidays! i took a break from javascript to finish another page of this seasonally-relevant beach episode comic.
yesterday i discovered and lost my bonkers over the fact that krita lets you define your own custom dither patterns to use with gradient maps, and a similar method can be used to make a brush that basically does dither blending instead of alpha blending... how cool is that!!!!
when i was looking back through goodbye to halos the other day i giggled so much at this page... these last three pages were really cute and i think were honing in on the closest thing to a sustainable visual style for me if i were going to continue doing traditional comics
i like to update this little collage every time i draw a new avatar. these all look like they were drawn by different people... if you think about it, they were!
