@webcomicchat A colour comic has some extra tools to play with; when I wanted to show magic glows in Chirault, I would just go some extra shading to the background to make sure the bright lights would show clearly. The darker the shadow, the brighter the light, etc #webcomicchat
@webcomicchat Hahaha oh my gosh have I ever!!! In Chirault I had to rely on inks to convey magic fx and so on because it was all greyscale and traditionally inked, so moving to full digital colours means that the effects are now UNLEASHED #webcomicchat
Did someone ask for more Drawceptions?
...Well, if not, here they come anyway
A few more miscellaneous drawceptions I made..
If any of these make you say "what", well, me too lol.
That's a wrap! :D (I'll do a Wychwood thread too, but later, haha.)
Assorted hijinx ensue! (I didn't even mention the sentient trees, the hunters' guild, the hivemind brain-hijacking crabs, the car theft, the necromancy, or the sewer adventures)

Anyway that's when they run headlong into the TERRIBLE DEEP-SEATED CONSPIRACY lying at the heart of the powerful mage guild, with roots stretching back twenty years and some surprising connections to Kiran's mysterious demonic nature.
They persevere despite the setbacks and frequent monster attacks, though, and gain the aid of new friends along the way: a skilled junior mage named Astrid, and a village guard named Bethan.
Despite initial reluctance, Kiran agrees to help Teeko find someone who can help get her back to normal. They face some challenges, however; not only do all the mages seem to be busy with matters of their own, Kiran's little-understood demonic powers are not fully under control.
The story explores themes of found family, self-discovery, responsibility, and atonement.
Already an orphan, Teeko is lost and alone after her hometown is destroyed by a freak magical phenomenon. A miscast spell by an untrained mage shrinks her down to squirrel-size.
