My favorite details in Bosa's design are her tattoos. The one on her right bicep depicts four seashells and three lilies, symbolizing her and her siblings (four men, three women). Her left bicep holds a nod towards a melody from a certain game about masks.

I fucking hate myself for thinking of this.

In Vol. 3, Bune's jacket has a fun detail that I only realized too late wouldn't be visible due to how she wears it but Tostantan was still kind enough to include. It says, "DUKE IT OUT" on the back and breast as both a pun on her title and a nod to her fighting style.

As a little aside, there will be a little sprite version of Bune on the spine of Vol. 3's paperback. I really love Tos' design for her, so I couldn't help but try to capture it in a compact form. 😅
