I finally started to feel like I was exploring what it is to be an artists again. And it’s not like I was done drawing girls, I still do.

I can draw them like I did in 2020, but because I was now in a place where I was exploring art again, I was able to draw girls in new styles:

I did! I made a promise to myself that I would only make art that I wanted to draw.

Maybe people were confused that I went from drawing sparkly girls to cute kidlit art, but I wasn’t going to stress over it. It felt amazing trying a new style of art, and growing again! 💖

Art again. I spent a year drawing lots of girls, and learning how to draw people. I feel like I got pretty good at it too! I still like drawing girls from time to time.

But I really didn’t want to put myself in a box again, so when I felt the need to explore a new art style -

@cheyennebarton Omg I know! I drew a similar expression a while back, and while mine has a more bittersweet vibe to it, it’s has a similar look to what you shared and was hard to do! Good luck, but I know you can do it! 💖✨

Does anyone else out there feel like it’s hard being an artist with multiple art styles? I have several and I’m constantly torn between them all.
