Hi #Portfolioday!
I'm Victoria, I'm a character designer & illustrator! I work full-time from home for Netflix & I'm always looking for freelance illustration work. I really enjoy drawing historical fashion & vampires!

This past year I told myself my only goal was to start incorporating backgrounds into my work, which I'd been putting off for a long time:
in 2018 I focused on composition & incorporating more storytelling into my work:
In 2017 I pushed myself to try to improve my line art & line weight!:
I have a yearly tradition in December of each year where I try to isolate one thing I want to improve on in my art. I've been doing this since 2016 & I wanted to share the results of it because I think it's kind of neat!
The first year I did it (2016), I focused on colour:
btw those drawing are from 2019/2017/2015/2009
This one is from 2013-2014 ish? I don't remember why but I drew the characters from Dragon Age Origins as characters from adventure time with varying degrees of success lol
A bunch of old development work! These are from shelved pitches mostly! While my personal work is more adult this is like the majority of what my professional work looks like.
A lot of them are like 3+ years old but I still think there's some fun stuff in there.
A little gift for my wonderful friend @AvivaMaiArtzy for this years #spookyswap! Here is a drawing of her cat Luna meeting #Hilda & the Raven!
