I think my favorite trope in manga is the "Last Chapter Timeskip". I love seeing everyone all grown up or even just their descendants.

(In case you were wondering, the Electrode and Swalot are the avatars for Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto, the manga’s writer and illustrator, respectively.)

Fun fact: the series’ illustrator, Satoshi Yamamoto, apparently loves her design, as Latias would show up in various Battle Frontier themed costumes in the “authors’ notes” sections of the manga for the Emerald arc, and even the Platinum arc!
