💜 I am grateful to be a part of Initiative Sankofa d'Afrique de l'Ouest (ISDAO) 's knowledge production process and it was a joy creating images that are an ode to the vibrant life of people who are working towards linguistic justice and inclusion in West Africa.

Carrying this value at its core, for the past decade, The Queer African Youth Networking Center (@qayncenter) has been doing phenomenal work of identifying issues, finding solutions and documenting them.

Now, as I am beginning to put together my art studio, I find myself so inspired and informed by the policies I was introduced to in FRIDA and many other organisations which focus on leading with care.

Young people are agents of change. Young feminists know there is an urgency to act, with many around the world already facing disastrous climate change impacts. Young people are leaders of today, not tomorrow.

🌐The two-day conference explored the intersections between racism and surveillance and aimed at making new connections between racial justice and digital rights groups to join efforts in resisting racism and surveillance.

📌 Feminist advocacy to promote feminist philanthropy and act in solidarity with women and LBTQI+ defenders
📌 Feminist approaches and networks that challenge the inequitable sharing of power and resources in philanthropy.
