I've had a good day in the studio & finally finished my "Crypto Frida", 100 x 100 cm, oil and wax on canvas.

More work done on "Crypto Frida" today. Long day in the studio and it could seem like nothing has changed 😉 hence I've also attached a collage of all the main stages of the painting. I guess I'll get it done in about 2 to 3 more sessions.

More work done on 'Crypto Frida', but still quite a way to go.

Red paint, especially crimson is the slowest drying oil hence I need to put it aside for a few days for it to dry before I continue.
