i’ve noticed after a little while that despite leo typically being the best when it comes to thinking on the fly and often being the first to jump into action

when it comes to his family being in trouble, his naturally response to it is almost always going into freeze mode 🧵

fun little parallel i noticed earlier.

when f!leo throws casey through the portal, he adamantly continues to look back at him to be certain that casey made it thru safely despite the danger directly in front of him

we later see mikey do the exact same thing with leo-

sometimes i still can’t believe how leo sacrificed himself

esp in the way he ordered casey to close it

bc he was actively being beaten while practically begging casey and he did it with the full knowledge that he’d be stuck there forever while being held in the krang’s grasp+

and look donnie, bc he is so fucking relieved and is so happy that leo's back to being himself & cracking jokes. esp after how panicked, desperate, & serious leo was acting beforehand. and they can all finally just breathe.

And it's never stated how worried both of his brothers are for Leo, but thru the expressions themselves you can clearly tell that they are.

Most people tend focus on the end of the movie, simply bc the focus goes to him and we watch his reaction to leo's sacrifice
