It's finished, the Snow Queen takes Kay away. Unfortunately the aurora was a little bit distracting so I removed it in favor of a dark sky with a few stars.

It is almost done, just a few things left to do on the aurora and perhaps a few details on the characters

Added some shadows to the Snow Queen and the mountaintops

Changed the first set of mountains, broke down a feel shapes of light and shadow. I'm using Illustrator like some sort of glorified 'connect the dots' game which I find quite relaxing (for now at least)

Finally finished it. The tin soldier and the ballerina perish in the flames. Used photoshop to add the black background and adjust the scanned image. Couldn't preserve some colors, but overall it's fine
