One thing I really admire and look to in Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi’s mechanical designs is while they look really over the top for the most part, a lot of mechanical details and components are all taken to consideration to kind of ground them in reality in some way.

@Cosmikaizer I like drawing original designs, fanarts, and will sometimes do fan designs for other properties just for fun (currently doing a Hololive mecha project lol)
