On #InternationalWomensDay, I'll share my favorite female cartoon icons from my childhood. I admire them still today.

Cosplay plans for Katsucon are underway. Yep, that's right.

Some bio stuff of the girls. I can definitely tell when I made these. Twas after a certain episode that I thought was really cool. The next drawing is a scene from that episode.

Some more free-hand drawing based off of official art. I was definitely getting better at it.

I was getting better bit by bit free-drawing these. The erased lines are definitely visible here, though. To me, drawing carefully meant pressing down hard on the paper.

Pfff. Ok. I drew them as teens. It's funny cuz I never really fantasized stories of their lives as teens. Just thought of their outfits and their roles in school.

Hope you guys like Powerpuff Girls, cuz we're getting into it now. These may have been my earliest drawings out of all the other ones. As you can see, Blossom is my favorite. I THINK the hearts drawing was traced, cuz they're definitely mimicking official art.

I actually free-handed these. The drawings of Kairi and Riku were based off of official artwork. That's why Kairi is orange.
This was also a time when drawing lightly wasn't a concept to me. So there were lots of smudges where I attempted to erase mistakes. =P

I watched Teen Titans faithfully. Around the time the Dark Knight movies were huge, I wondered what Robin look like if he was in Batman's position. I believed a full head mask would be better for some reason. That nose beak. XD
