The remaining Factions organized themselves as the Syndicate.

Out of Maya's Metroplex, they initially hid in their secret lairs, away from violence.

As time went by, they regrouped, and recently gained territories, infiltrating themselves back into Maya's society.

The Factions of Maya joined a cooperative effort to study and harvest that energy. After years, Maya's scientists managed to collect the first batches of what they've called the External Orbit Particle, or ExoParticle. It quickly became the Maya's main source of energy.

Decades ago, a something hit the world of Maya. A strange meteor, made of an exquisite form of matter, energetic and volatile. Through the formation of the huge crater in what used to be a portion of the continent, it created an unstable energy, bending reality around it.
