those are its eyes turning into the spider ones you see in the spider-hog form. this detail was clearer in the sketch, but I wanted to make it less obvious that loner is an eldritch horror in its normal state, so I left it out.
FUN LONER FACT: loner's eyes doing this thing is actually intentional.
it's not to simulate crying. bc the tears are already there. it's already clear that loner's crying. so what is this supposed to be, then?
