Meet Ciaran! He's a chaotic artificer who regularly commissioned the local blacksmith Aaren for his various projects... After a while, Aaren took him in, teaching him as an associate.

The blacksmith then slowly fell in love with Ciaran... ❤️

I finished the design for another character, who will appear later in my story!

This is the young duchess Ava of Eswaria. The citizens call her fondly "the swan of Eswaria" due to her mainly white choice of clothing. 🤍🦢

@CryanVa Aaren was ambushed by bandits once, he barely escaped, and carries a sword since then.

As for the loss of hair... the men on his mother's side of the family started balding early. He decided to shave it off entirely. He's a bit jelly of his dad looking like Jesus in his 50s tho

Since I did a re-draw of his reference sheet, I'll drop:

Aaren (he/him), at age 31, and in his early twenties!

Finished Aaren's blacksmith outfit! Now I just need to do his younger self... 😊

I decided to re-draw Aaren, the son of Arvid. Their poses were a bit too similar...

Aaren is a dedicated blacksmith and loves his unusual brother Niall very much after getting used to the little hybrid...

I'll also draw a younger version for the beginning of the story ❤️

On vacation I've seen a lot of jackdaws... They are the inspiration for Niall's birb-half ❤️🐣

Cheeky and clever little guys... They are so cute! 💕
