Surprising no one, I have drawn more TBC stuff. Sort of a revisit of my old thought on halos, but mostly just distraction and telling myself I'm practicing brushes.

My coloring style is still all over the place. But we'll get that sorted someday, I'm sure. Took inspiration from the Baltimore Oriole for today's #Smaugust

Years with SAI and I still poke at it and effects like a confused toddler with a crayon. 🤷‍♀️

More painting practice experimenting with colors, backgrounds, and learning to do....things with a brush. Note to self; learn to paint eyes.

Can I do art without lines? Answer: Mostly, yes. But it will take me FOREVER and I still have no idea what a light source or shadows are.

I refuse to pick at it more between mismatched screen lighting. I give future me full permission to scoff at past me later for that. 🛏️💤

Take breaks and deep breaths. Remember, it's okay to put the phone down if you need to.

Learning to trick the eye with a limited color palette is...wild. Colors are weird and so are brains. Featuring: my TBC kid looking pensive as hell. Must have been a rough mission. 👀
