It could also be cool if you added some unused aliens as little easter eggs and maybe try to expand upon Race X and how they work.

They seem to have only organic technology and I think one of the concepts behind them is that they have mastered teleportation.

What I mean by that is how nothing from Xen is actually from Xen, they'll every alien from there flee from their homeworlds to escape the combine.

Now something interesting that could do is make some Synths well unsynthed and put them on some of the other aliens' homeworlds.
