The narrator questions the truth of tales involving Wukong. Mid-trailer a Great Sage Equal to Heaven looking Wukong stops what looks to be the game's protagonist, Wukong. Later, our narrator lets loose his Celestial Robe hinting that he is Wukong who has achieved Buddhahood.

I love how @toei_zero_one reminds me of a kid-friendly, tech-ver. of #KamenRider 1 and Shin. I appreciate that Reiwa's 1st Rider stayed to a grasshopper theme for all of his major form upgrades. The design also looks great in motion & works great with color separation for toys.

I'm pleasantly surprised by "The Mandalorian". It's got a masked stoic hero with a cute, bald, green gremlin, tells most of its story with action instead of obtusely spelling everything out loudly, RPG-like progression and some heart. Best recent "Star Wars" thing, to me.

Catching up with #UltramanTaiga and it's fun to see the contrast between him and #ULTRAMAN (manga/anime). Taiga is inherently kind, feels proud to be learning how to live up to his legacy while Hayata's son is struggling to live up to an inherited skin that's part artificial.

Flew in to Seoul, Korea just for the @JamesJeanArt "Eternal Journey" exhibit and it's the most-well designed show I've ever been to.

Every bit as deliberate and exquisite as JJ's paintings.

Just finished the #anime #Ultraman on Netflix. It does a servicable "kid grows up into a hero" arc. It's main highlights are the incredible fight choreography & seeing the alt modern takes on the classic Ultrabrothers.

Ultraseven and Ace are undoubtedly my favorite out of this.
