(1/2) when my older sister dressed up as Дед Мороз (Father Frost) for New Year's Eve. The disguise worked so well that I believed in Father Frost for quite a few years afterwards! In our family we celebrate New Year's rather than Christmas and Father Frost comes along with that.

Seems that when you have a baby in the family, you develop lightning speed reflexes to constantly catch them from faceplanting into things.

(2/2) Drawing these comics makes me revisit a lot of old memories. Often childhood memories are much more about the sounds, smells and feelings of things rather than actual events. I enjoy drawing comics about moments like that. They're very meaningful to me.
