(1/2) I remember the first book and the first word that I read by myself (cat!!) because it was an exciting achievement, haha. Something about working hard to figure it out by myself made it feel like a magical discovery. Loved reading ever since!

Maybe I just got more shy but it feels like there’s more social gymnastics in friendly conversations between adults. People worrying about being judged, worrying about first impressions. All fair. But I miss the time where you could get a new friend from playing make believe.

One of my earliest memories is dumping a quarter of a cup of water on my sister’s head because I couldn’t tell if the cup was empty (how?? I don’t know). It’s stupid but makes me laugh every time I remember it, kids are so ridiculous. My sis wasn’t even angry at me, just baffled.

I finished playing Fallen Order so I had to doodle my two boys. p.s. drawing droids hurts me because I suck at hard surface but I love BD1 enough to try.

A dramatic child. I then ran and cried into my confused Mama’s shoulder. To be honest I still have moments similar to this - if someone’s phone battery dies and they don’t reply to me for a while I’ll immediately picture every possible bad scenario and work myself up about it.
