i love sonic’s expression in this cover

i find it interesting how this is the only time in idw where sonic's eyes are drawn like this when they're closed

@a_kinopio i really didn't see it that way. he says this in the previous issue so clearly it's him referring to this.

@Sonicmario826 sure, sonic does work with his friends but this is more so him referencing the fact that it's okay to admit that you're in trouble. sonic has a tendency to not tell anyone when he's struggling and just deals with it himself. he even says this in the last issue:

the windows of sonic's house in archie is such a cute detail, i love it so much

i really wanna see more sonic and whisper interactions in the future! the few that we do have are really sweet and i love seeing them both together :)
