Noonas are monsters from the book I'm querying. They aren't hostile, but an aggravated herd's stampede can level a village. The monsters can fly and don't feel pain, making them extremely dangerous when enraged.
They say a noona can read your soul.

A small update. And I swear the critter (it's a noona, an original monster from the book I'm querying) is an absolute sweetheart.

@briellums Sheena had her life figured out, up until her vagabond brother took it all to the grave. She inherits the fool's final wish to find the long-lost Guardians' temple and his pet monster—a sassy, giant, shark-faced centipede who refuses to leave her the heck alone.
