Episode 12 of Vinland Saga this week was a game of cat & mouse. Askeladd knows his men are no match for Thorkell's 500 so they decide to high tail it for as long as possible. Askeladd sends a letter out in the beginning of the episode & soon we find out who he sent for.

Now that Utena is done I have made my way over to Neon Genesis Evangelion! I love how in the first episode they were like, "Shinji you gonna pilot this giant fucking robot or nah?" 😂😂😂

It was nice to see that Vinland Saga covered two opposing religions in this week's episode. We have Christianity against Norse Paganism. The Old Norse religion eventually gave way to Christianity during the Christianization of Scandinavia between the 8th and 12th centuries.
