I'm just gonna turn this into my monster thread. These are horseslugs, they......... they have no purpose in this ecosystem?? they're probably the main prey for the vampire trees tbh. they're gross pests

check out this monster I made. they live in the woods and are only known natural predators of vampire trees… their big weird exoskeletons make it very hard for the trees to eat them back
