Essentially a sequel to the original Kaba art book, Kaba 2 is another gigantic collection of art, anime, comics, promotional illustrations, and more!

One last post about Patlabor and Akemi Takeda.

I wasn't really familiar with her work until I came across this illustration. When I found out that there was an entire art book with her Patlabor drawings, obviously I had to get it.

This art book is a fantastic collection of illustrations from the Patlabor series. Original drawings, anime cels, and more. Akemi Takeda's work is beautiful!

This is a very enthusiastic post reminding you to watch the 2001 work of art, METROPOLIS. Not only is this an excellent film, but the background artwork is phenomenal. Every frame of this film is pure eye candy. Where you can watch it....not sure. But the bluray is on Amazon.
