@goattrain Yeah! She, or a variant of her, appears in just about every game in the series. She's actually based off of a monster called the Shadow Dancer, which is itself in almost every Gradius game near the end.

She's way cuter, though, and that's coming from someone into robots.

@goattrain Frustratingly, rewind keeps making Retroarch crash, so it's hard to get good screenshots (and I had to revert to an older save state with a character I'm worse with), but here she is.

Me five minutes later, back on my usual bullshit.

Daydreaming about how I arbitrarily gave Ashley a post-Voth body temperature of 123℉, which I'd originally looked at as "hot enough to cook on" but really it's more like a nice hot shower.

Definitely thinking about that a lot now that it's getting cold again...
